JINAN, China, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- A first-half strike from Kota Mizunuma lifted Yokohama F. Marinos to 1-0 win over Shandong Taishan in Group G of the AFC Champions League here on Tuesday.

Shandong looked more aggressive in the opening stages and created several chances. However, Mizunuma put the visitors 1-0 ahead in the 37th minute following a string of slick passes.

In the second half, Shangdong went close to scoring when Cryzan Barcelos' long-range shot and header hit the post.

Elsewhere, South Korea's Incheon United crushed Philippines' Kaya FC 4-0, Malaysia's Johor Darul Ta'zim beat Thailand's BG Pathum United 4-2, and Japan's Kawasaki Frontale edged South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai 1-0.
