NANNING -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Sunday met with Malaysia's Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Nanning, the capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Li noted that China and Malaysia are good partners working toward common development, and good neighbors that help each other. He said the two sides in March reached an important consensus on the joint construction of a China-Malaysia community with a shared future -- a milestone in the history of bilateral relations. NAIROBI -- At least four people were killed and eight others wounded in a roadside blast on Saturday evening in Mandera County near the Kenya-Somalia border, police said on Sunday.

MOGADISHU -- The Somali National Army killed more than 30 al-Shabab fighters on Saturday evening in operations in central Somalia.

SAO PAULO -- At least 14 people were killed when a small plane crashed on Saturday in Barcelos, an inland city of Amazonas state in northern Brazil, local authorities said.
