MOSCOW -- The Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday blasted the United States and Britain for organizing a discussion on the situation in Hong Kong in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on May 29.

"We consider the situation in Hong Kong an internal affair of China and urge external forces to abstain from interfering in relations between the central government and the special administrative region of that country," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a news briefing. KUALA LUMPUR -- The verdict on a case against former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak related to SRC International, a former unit of state investment fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), will be delivered on July 28, a Malaysia court said Friday.

TOKYO -- Japan's largest advertising agency Dentsu Group Corp. evacuated personnel from its Tokyo headquarters after receiving a bomb threat, according to local media reports on Friday.

NEW DELHI -- At least nine people were killed in a deadly collision between a goods truck and car in India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh on Friday, police said.
