Ireland gets its 50th Domino's outlet

DUBLIN, Ireland - The prominent pizza chain Domino's is pacing towards achieving its ambition of opening 75 outlets in Ireland. 

On Tuesday, the pizza chain unveiled its latest outlet, which is located in Ringsend in Dublin.

The outlet became the 50th Domino's store in the Republic of Ireland. 

At the launch of its new outlet in the Irish capital, Domino's said that its latest addition highlights the significant progress the company is making towards reaching the target number of stores it had planned for the country. 

Commenting on the company's plans, David Wild, CEO of Domino's said in a statement that the Irish market offers significant growth opportunities.

Wild noted, "We remain confident, together with our franchisees, in achieving our 75 store target."

Domino's opened its first store in Ireland nearly 30 years back and with its latest addition - it now has  50 stores in the country and offers 25 jobs per store. 

The company overall hires over 1,250 workers.

Domino's Ireland said in a statement that the target of 75 stores will deliver an additional 625 job opportunities, ranging from pizza makers to store managers.
