Anti-Valentine group in Malaysia urges students not to take off their undies
Kuala Lumpur News.Net Monday 8th February, 2010 (ANI)
Kuala Lumpur, Feb 8 : A non-governmental organisation in Malaysia is gearing itself up against Valentine's Day and a plan to get a group of students to go without panties on that day.
It had earlier been reported that female students in higher learning institutes in Shah Alam were being persuaded not to wear panties on Valentine's Day as an expression of true love for their boyfriends.
The "no-panties" promotion, being held for the first time, has apparently been gaining interest among the students who are passing the news by word of mouth.
The Secretariat Against Social Ills Penang (Urusetia Menangani Gejala Sosial Pulau Pinang or Unggas) fears that the "no panties" promotion, may soon find its way into secondary schools if not checked.
According to a random survey they conducted at several Penang schools, it was discovered that some students were aware of the matter.
Unggas co-ordinator Nurfitri Amir Muhammad said a few of its teacher activists were even surprised to find students openly discussing it.
"We do not have any evidence if such an event is being organised among the secondary school students here, but the fact that secondary students are aware of such a promotion requires serious attention," the Star Online quoted him as saying at a press conference in Bagan Lalang.
Nurfitri claimed that some couples who celebrated Valentine's Day ended up having a sex party.
He said Unggas with the Ulama Association of Malaysia (Penang Chapter), Angkatan Pemuda Pemudi Islam and Komuniti Suara Kehidupan recently started a "Valentine's Day Trap" (Jerat Valentine's Day) campaign to caution the people against negative activities during Valentine's Day.
He said a team of about 500 volunteers from the organisations began distributing posters and VCDs, and would later conduct talks in night markets and other public places.
"On Valentine's night, we will conduct a preventive operation called Operasi Sayang Remaja at Queensbay Mall in Gurney Drive and along the Butterworth Outer Ring Road stretch," he said.
"Since, we do not have enforcement powers like Jakim officers, we will concentrate on counselling and advising couples against committing adultery," he added.
Nurfitri said National Registration Department statistics showed that about 257,000 births were registered without their fathers' names between 2000 and July 2008.
He said 70,430 babies were born out of wedlock between 1999 and 2003. Email this story to a friend

Undies
Undies are not part of the Malay costume, so why wear them at all. Since the boys are not told to take theirs off, what is the problem. And anyway what make you think that they are wearing them on the other days. May be we need the undies police. jobs for the boys.

Why not tell the Police or Rela to check all the girls to see whether they are wearing panties on that day?

- Fatima - there is no such thing as an invitation to rape you have been brainwashed. Men should be able to keep their shit in check panties or no panties.
Its called 'easy access' and it is immorally wonderful. Try it some time. Loosen up. Literally!

Valentine
Velentine day is sweeping Malaysia, India and everywhere.
It is another meaningless foolish culture from the west. It fits in well with christian culture as you can see kamasutra is so well known in the the west and many ther believe it is part of Hindu culture which is untrue. Valentine’s day is a commercial ploy like farther’s day, mother’s day etc. Parents, spouse, girl/boyfriend all need to be respected and cared everyday, not just one day a year and NOT given material present but undevided loyalty and love. Do not let our culture and society get eroded.

Valentine's Day
HA! I’m from the west and Valentine’s Day is a day between two people who already have an established loving relationship, committed boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife. (Most westerners think it’s weird if you’re giving Valentine’s to your friends, relatives, etc.) It originally was so the couple could have dinner together and exchange homemade gifts and to say

Seriously guys? Lighten Up!
I love how Malaysians always blow things out of proportion. We make the mundane to hot front page news. For one thing, what is wrong with going without panties? Secondly, how would you even know if they went pantyless? And since you don’t know, how is it an invitation for rape? Use some common sense and logic people. Oh wait, that’s not a common trait amongst Malaysians either.

Hypocrisy!!!
Malaysians are just amusing..they’re talking about trying to avoid comission of adultery.sad how for such a muslim country the focus is on adultery when there are gay people and she-males roaming around the streets not to mention prostitutes aswell.Only when there’s some people wanting to walk around panyt-less do they start complaining. gosh!!!

what is valentine
true love does not mean you have to go pantyless on valentine day. so if you wear panty on other days does that mean it is not true love on other days.if you are saying only on valentine day you express true love , ha ha you are all wrong. true love is 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. true love is without condition. true love is accepting and being responsible. this is the real meaning from Kama sutra. Kama sutra means literature of love.( kama - Body and sutra - study of body) its is not just love making in different position. it is actually sex education in olden days. where are we today if far behind compared to caves time.

Malaysian Problems
What is the problems ? Wearing or not wearing is individual, like or dislike. Let them decide !!! Afterall they are not NUDE !!!

Wasting time and resources
This all will only waste time and resources for the 500 volunteers, no other work arr ? These 500 team of course will be very excited. It brings very bad image. It is the individual likes or dislikes. This 500 members if given a chance...mmm
