Kuala Lumpur News.Net
Sunday 11th January, 2009

The British Broadcasting Corporation is in trouble in Iran after launching its Persian-language channel.

The official Islamic Republic News Agency has called the British government “opportunistic” in establishing the station.

The News Agency accused the BBC of attempting to recruit Iranians for espionage and psychological warfare.

Meanwhile, the BBC has claimed the new channel will present high-quality, accurate and impartial news, information and analysis to Iranians and other Persian speakers.

Conflict of interest

BBC is a government funded broadcasting station with the mission to serve the British tax payer. So how is this compactible with unbias reporting?

Loss of control

The Iranian government can’t control what is outside of their country. And with so many Iranians having satellite television, they will surely see this station.

BBC clashes with Iranian official.

UK knows that it is illegal to make any b/c. Example the UK doesn’t let the people to recruit. Why UK wants the Iranian people to recruit and go against the GOV of Iran. If it is okay UK then let the terror group recruit. Freedom of speech comes from good not bad like the BBC did at Iran.
